Do you have some small boxes just sitting around the house? If you have children or grandchildren of pre-school age, you may want to try creating a set of alphabet boxes.
1 - collect 26 boxes, they can be the same size or varied
2 - spray paint the color of your choice (I chose black so that the letters would standout)
3 - purchase or create and print a set of letters to put on the boxes. (I purchased letter shaped sticky notes and taped them to the boxes.)
4 - You could use colored duck tape, also. I took the easy way out.
5 - I used mailing tape to protect and affix the letters to the boxes.

This is a great way to teach letter recognition and alphabetical order. Hope you have fun creating!
